In February 2025, Matt was a founding partner of RWC Tasmania with the objective of creating the preimient commercial real estate business in Tasmania. It was imperative that this business was wholly Tasmanian owned.
For 31 years Matt worked at KPMG Tasmania and was a partner for 26 years, retiring July 2021. During his professional career, Matt specialised in property, tourism and gaming and facilitated many transactions including property syndications. After facilitating a smooth transition of his clents, Matt commenced his real estate career, joining Knight Frank in Hobart.
The acquisition of Knight Frank by Elders Rural Services Australia Limited (Elders) created the impetus to provide Tasmanian property vendors and landlords with a truely National commercial property network, with International reach, and RWC opened its doors on 3 February 2025.
